Help to kick start a career

Apprenticeships

What are Apprenticeships?

Apprenticeships are a way to get real-life industry experience that'll help candidates feel confident in their future career.

Apprentices work for an employer while studying at college. Taking part in and completing an apprenticeship will give skills and experience that'll kick-start the plant career, while gaining recognised qualifications along the way.

What Apprenticeships are available?

There are a number of plant related apprenticeships available, all of which are eligible for funding if you're levy registered.

  • Construction Plant Operative
  • Construction Plant Mechanic
  • Crane/Lifting Operative
  • Demolition Operative

If you have any questions or would like to start an apprentice, then please can contact our dedicated Plant Apprenticeships Officer, Clare Hill - clare.hill@CITB.co.uk | 07876 130588
